French actress Elodie grew up in Seine-saint-Denis a suburb in Paris with a French mother and a Cambodian father. Her father immigrated to France because of the Khmer Rouge regime in 1975. 

She studied at the Acting International School where she graduated in 2002. She obtained her master's degree in law at the University of La Sorbonne in Paris and studied acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. 

She practiced karate since her ninth, because she grew up in a very nasty neighborhood where you must defend yourself. She obtained her black belt in karate and that is really a good art for punches and kicks. She learned capoeira moves and learned to use sai and daggers for her role as Elektra in Daredevil. 

Action Movie Career

She made her action movie debut as Tsu in this story where a group of young French athletes meet an group of Chinese athletes named Hyènes in Bangkok, who have offered their services to an group unscrupulous yakusas in ''Les fils du vent'' (2004). The beautiful Chinese young woman Tsu is none other than the sister of the head of the Hyènes who is kidnapped with several others. The French group goes on a dangerous mission to rescue them with help of the Hyènes.


She plays Tao in this story where Capt. Damien Tomaso (played by Cyril Raffaelli) and Leito (played by David Belle) returns back to District 13 on a mission to bring peace to the troubled sector that is controlled by five different gang bosses, before the secret services of the city take drastic measures to solve the problem in ''Ultimatum'' (2009).

She plays Laura Maurier in this story about six fairly cocky Paris police academy-graduated newbies, who join the metropolitan police in order to be truly trained on the job by arrogant veterans who bicker among themselves in the action TV series ''Les bleus: premiers pas dans la police'' (2010). Their assignment is to fight against crime under supervision of the veterans, that's not an easy job.

She plays Isako in this story about the illegal Arab immigrant Saadi (played by Tarek Bakhari) who is mistaken for a dangerous islamistic terrorist, on the most dangerous day of his life in ''Opération Casablanca'' (2010). He is a wrongly accused suspect who gets involved in a worldwide terrorist plot in this satirical action comedy.

She plays Jinx in this story where the G.I. Joes receive serious threats from the government self which jeopardizes their existence in ''G.I. Joe: Retaliation'' (2013). The G.I. Joe team is framed for crimes against the country by the president but they don't know that he is kidnapped. Commander Zartan (played by Arnold Vosloo) of their mortal enemy Cobra is disguised as the fake president. He has all world leaders with their advanced warheads under his influence what leads to the death of innocent people around the world. The surviving G.I. Joe members under lead of their leader General Joseph Colton (played by Bruce Willis) are outnumbered and outgunned. They are determined to defeat the Cobra Commander, his accomplices and the world leaders in order to rescue the President.

She plays Murray's Wife in this short movie divided into three different stories in ''Believe'' (2014). Story one: Chaya (played by Chandrima Patrian) is a school teacher in India who is telling the story of Diwali to her pupils. Story Two: War photographer Murray (played by Michael Stahl-David) is back in USA to meet his family again after a tour in Afghanistan with the US Army. Story Three: Pablo (played by Luis Casasola) is a kid from a township in Argentina who's looking at a crowd on the local village square. This three scenarios happen at the same time and the three people are simultaneously confronted a crucial moment of their respective lives...They will change forever!.

She plays female ninja assassin Elektra Natchios and Matt Murdock (played by Charlie Cox) has superhumanly senses which he uses to fight crime in ''Daredevil'' (2015 - 2017). He is Lawyer at day time and is vigilante at night time. Matt was blinded by a chemical spill in a freak accident as child, which gave him superhuman senses that enabled him to see the world in a unique and powerful way, instead of limiting him. 

She plays young thief Hathor in this story where Mortal hero Bek (played by Brenton Thwaites) teams up with god Horus (played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), in an alliance against Set (played by Gerard Butler) the merciless god of darkness in ''Gods of Egypt'' (2016). Set has the throne of Egypt appropriated and collapsed the once peaceful and prosperous kingdom into chaos and conflict. Hathor teams up with the powerful god Horus, in order to rescue her kidnapped love, who was taken captive by god of darkness Set. They are determined to defeat Set and his entire empire.

There is no further info about her latest movie ''The Hitman's Bodyguard'' (2016) which is released later this year.
